After 15 years, an American won the Miss Universe pageant. Miss USA Olivia Culpo bested out other representatives of the different countries around the world.
The 61st Miss Universe Pageant was held this year at the Planet Hollywood Resort & Casino in Las Vegas on December 19, 2012.
